Eligibility (First and Second Year Degree and First Year Master's Degree)

 

Eligibility Procedure – Students who have passed 12th examination from any board other than Maharashtra Board and passed first year degree or passed first and third year from any university other than Mumbai University and are admitted for second, third year degree or first year post graduate degree at university level. The process has to be completed through the university.

 

A student has to go through the eligibility process to see if he is eligible to study the courses he has chosen.

 

Eligibility process is done in 2 sections.

1. Mumbai University Eligibility Form

2. 10th and 12th Pass Marksheet

3. 10th and 12th Passing Certificate

4. Bachelors Marksheet (F.Y., SY., TY)

5. Migration Certificate

6. Degree Certificate

7. Masters Marksheet or NET or PET or SET Certificate

8. Topic Approval

9. Interview Report conducted by College OR Concerned Department 

10. Requires Transfer Certificate with Z.P. Sign in case U. P. Board

  1. Documents required for Final Eligibility

1. Mumbai University Provisional Eligibility Certificate

2. 12th Marksheet Or Bachelors Or Masters Marksheet Verification

3. 10th and 12th Marksheet and Passing Certificate

4. Bachelors Marksheet (F.Y., SY., TY) or Masters Marksheet (For Post Graduate and Ph.D. Courses)

5. Migration Certificate

6. Degree Certificate (For Post Graduate and Ph.D. Courses)

7. Masters Marksheet or NET or PET or SET Certificate (For Ph.D. Courses)

8. Topic Approval (For Ph.D. Courses)

9. Interview Report conducted by College OR Concerned Department (For Ph.D. Courses) 

10. Requires Transfer Certificate with Z.P. Sign in case U. P. Board

Fees for Eligibility Certificate

First Year Degree - 300 + 200 = 500 (Eligibility + Enrolment)

Post Graduate Degree - 300 + 200 = 500 (Eligibility + Enrollment) For Universities Outside Maharashtra

Post Graduate Degree - 200 + 200 = 400 (Eligibility + Enrollment) for Universities in Maharashtra

Important: If the student's eligibility application is verified on time as per the date given by the university, the student will have to pay a late fee of Rs. 5,000 or Rs. 10,000.

(Rs. 5,000 for Aided (Granted) course, Rs. 10,000 for Unaided Non-Granted course)

The University of Mumbai does not issue the University of Mumbai Migration Certificate to the student for further education until the student does not receive the Eligibility Certificate from the University of Mumbai.
