In 2017-18, Ruia College transitioned to autonomous status, marking a new chapter of academic innovation and excellence. The same year, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded the college an 'A+' Grade with an impressive CGPA of 3.70. Guided by our logo, "Explore – Experience – Excel," we have leveraged this autonomy to design innovative, skill-based courses, including life-skills programs, aligned with contemporary needs.

In Arts stream, we provide programmes in the field of Commerce, Economics, English, French, Hindi, History, Marathi, Psychology, Philosophy, Political science, Sanskrit. With these specialized domains, the student gets absorbed in Civil Services (MPSC, UPSC), Law, MBA, Translation and interpretation, market research, performing arts, anthropology, archaeology, heritage walks, etc.

Science

In Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College Science stream comprises of 14 full-fledged departments. The student has multiple options to make a career in any of these fields. Some of the emerging career options in science are Bioinformatician, Biotechnologist, Forensics, Microbiologist, Pharmacologist, Pathologist, Oceanographer, Analytical Chemist, Food Technologist, Astronomer, Applied mathematician, Computational Physicist, Cosmologist, Environmental Scientist, Data Analyst, Software developer, Statistician, etc.

BMM

Mass media course is a vibrant career option for all the students those who wish to seek admission. This is three years full-time course. Eligibility criteria for this course are 12th Pass, i.e. HSC examination in all streams. The course is offered in two languages namely Marathi and English. After successful completion of this three years course, students can join the industry in the fields of advertising and journalism. Students can also think of doing their startup by taking advantage of speciality subjects taught under this course.

B Voc

College offers skill-based vocational studies in three fields namely Greenhouse management, Tourism and Travel Management, and Pharma Analytical Sciences. Providing students with varied skill-based career opportunities as Greenhouse consultant, tourism manager and entrepreneur, Quality assurance expert, medical consultancy, etc.
