B.VOC TOURISM AND TRAVEL MANAGEMENT
ABOUT DEPARTMENT
Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College with almost eight decades of experience in higher education and training and with the strong industry-academia linkages.It is the first college in the city of Mumbai to be granted permission by UGC to start a KAUSHAL Centre in August 2015 and thus B.Voc Tourism and Travel Management Program was started under KAUSHAL scheme.
B. Voc. Tourism and Travel Management is recognized by UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION under
National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF, level 4-7), as also by the University of Mumbai. The
Course is conducted in association with leading tourism organizations in India who are actively involved in curriculum development and student training. Certification by the National Skill Development Council, Govt of India, further provides a pan-India recognition for the Course.
COURSE INTRODUCTION
The course provides for multiple exit points at different levels:
• Diploma (1 Year)
• Advanced Diploma (2 Years)
• B.Voc Degree in Tourism and Travel Management (3 years)
