Activities of the Department

The department continuously strives for bringing in innovation and creativity in teaching learning patterns for the students. World Tourism Day is celebrated every year which is the flagship event of the department and has gained tremendous student response. The formal event attracts roughly 300+ students each year for a half day Seminar which reflects the theme of the tourism day. If the World Tourism Day seminar is a formal event, Yatra La Vista is one such event which brings in colors and enthusiasm in the otherwise academic life. YLV, as we call it is one of the most popular events amongst the students. The event is by the students and for the students. An inter-collegiate event organized by the department every year under the “Samanvay” banner has students participating in various fun filled activities, quiz, treasure hunt and lot more in a days’ time. The main aim of the event is to make learning enjoyable, help students collaborate on different ideas and build up an event which would break the monotony of regular classes yet add to the student’s life skills.
