Welcome to Microbes 2007-08

MICROBES is the annual intercollegiate event of the Department of Microbiology, Ramnarain Ruia College. This activity is now in to it's 7th year. As you know, the purpose of this event is to expose students to the remarkable and mysteriously diverse world of microbes. They are encouraged to explore the familiar and not-so-familiar microbial taxa, thereby, update their laboratory techniques and taxonomic skills.

 This year MICROBES will be held on Tuesday, 22nd January 2008, instead of 19^th January which is now declared a holiday on account of Moharram. The timings for the event will be 10am to 3pm followed by prize distribution for both BIODIVERSITY and COLONIZING ORKUT. The participants should report to the Microbiology Department an hour before the event along with their exhibits.

 We will appreciate your participation to make the event a success. Entries will be accepted till 16th January, 2008. Exhibition will be on display for non-participants also.
