ü      For several years the department achieved 100% results for all classes.

ü      The department organizes its annual exhibition “SYNAPSE” to encourage its students for creative ideas in the field of Genetics, Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, Neurobiology, Immunology, Environmental Sciences, Developmental Biology and Horticulture.

ü      Students attend an Open Day session at ACTREC (Advanced Centre For Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer) And CRI (Cancer Research Institute)

ü      Field study tours were conducted for its students of Life Sciences to East Coast Bhubaneshwar Konark, Orissa, Chilka Lake, to Gir Forest, Gujarat and Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai.

ü      Teachers attended several seminars and workshops of National and International repute.

ü      The Department works for holistic development of its students’ personality.
