1. First, Second, Third and Fifth rank overall in the T.Y.B.Sc University Exams were bagged by Ms. Upasana A., Ms. Dipti L., Ms. Siddha K. and Mr. Rohit K.(2005-2006)
2. First, Second and Third Dr. K. U. Naram Award, by the Association of Food Technologists of India (ASTI) and UICT, Mumbai.
3. First and third rank overall in the T.Y.B.Sc University Exams were bagged by Ketaki Bhat and Maitreyee Apte (2004-2005).
4. First and third rank overall in the T.Y.B.Sc.University Exams were bagged by Girija Balan and Sachin Vaidya (2003-2004).
5. The Department conducts an Annual Signature Festival of Food Science & Quality Control namely APPETISERS, the proceedings of which go towards the APPETISERS Scholarship

Dr. Jyoti. D. Vora who is the Head of the Department is the Only Post Graduate Recognized teacher and Research guide for Biochemistry. She is the
