First
Year Junior College |
Admission
to First Year Junior College are made exclusively on considerations
of merit, i.e., percentage of marks secured in the Std. X of SSCE
/ ICSE / CBSE irrespective of the Board of passing. After the declaration
of the SSC results of the Maharashtra State Boards of Secondary Education,
the College sells (at a nominal cost) a Pre-Admission and an Admission
forms. The Pre-Admission forms are then accepted on dates specified
by the Deputy Director of Education. The Pre-Admission form calls
for minimum data (viz., Name, Total Percentage of Marks, Year of Passing
and Category) to automatically generate merit lists on the computer
which are displayed on dates again specified by the Deputy Director
of Education, till the College fills its seats. It is, therefore,
necessary to fill the Pre-Admission form correctly and completely.
Students whose names appear on the merit lists are required to submit
the main Admission form, duly completed, alongwith the fees, original
SSC marklist, 3 recent passport-size photographs and other certificates
(as applicable) to complete the admission.

| Second
Year Junior College |
| For
admission to Std. XII, students of the Std. XI of the Junior College,
who are promoted to Std. XII, will have to submit a fresh admission
form alongwith the fees after the declaration of the results of Std.
XI. Students who have passed Std. XI from other Junior Colleges or
Boards may be admitted to this Junior College, as per availability
of seats, only at the discretion of the Principal or Vice-Principal. |
| Vocational |
| As
the Junior College has only 100 seats for the vocational subjects,
admissions to these are made exclusively on considerations of merit
as per the directives of the Deputy Director of Technical Education.
These allotments are done on the basis of a separate merit list after
a student secures his admission to the Junior College. |
