The Junior College reserves 52 % of the total number of seats in each class and faculty for the members of socially backward classes as under :

• Scheduled Castes (S.C.) : 13%,
• Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) : 7%,
• Vimukta Jati (V.J.N.T.) : 3%,
• Nomadic Tribes : ( NT1 : 3.5%, NT2 : 2%, NT3 : 2.5% ),
• Other Backward Classes (O.B.C.) : 19%,
• Special Backward Classes (S.B.C.) : 2%.

Additionally, 5% of the total seats is reserved for Management, 2 % for Government Transfer / Defence and Ex-Defence Personnel / Freedom Fighters (only next of kin), 2% for Sports (participation at State and/or National level only).
