Students belonging to the reserved categories should possess, at the time of admission. Their caste certificates duly certified by an authorized signatory, viz., Tehsildar, Executive Magistrate, Deputy Collector or Collector.

The same caste and sub-caste should also be clearly mentioned in the Leaving Certificate of the last institution attended.

Students should being their original caste certificate at the time of admission for verification and submit an attested Xerox copy of the same along with the admission form.

NOTE : Student's own, and not parents' or relatives', caste certificate is necessary.

Students belonging to the reserved categories studying in FYJC Science classes, and who intend to seek admission to Medical or Pharmacy or Engineering Colleges, need to validate their caste certificate by the Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Mumbai Division, Mumbai, Maharashtra State. The committee certifies if the caste claim is correct.

Prescribed proforma of the governement committee will be available in the College Office. The completed form should be submitted to the College Office with the following documents attached :

• Caste Certificate (original and one xerox copy)
• School Leaving Certificate (xerox copy)
• Caste Certificate of father/uncle/brother (xerox copy)
• Any Revenue documents which mention the caste.
